Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Manager in the Seattle area to lead cost-optimization projects for clients. You will manage client engagements, coordinate with SMEs, and deliver measurable savings while mentoring staff and expanding relationships with stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in management consulting with procurement focus, a Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus), and the ability to travel up to 50%. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement or sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 3+ years focused on Spend Optimization and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project plans and lead client engagements.
• Manage resources and coordinate with SMEs inside and outside the firm.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies and recommendations.
• Present to client executives and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture client relationships and sales origination.
• Support internal strategies, intellectual capital, and deliverables.
• Lead procurement process improvement and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Travel 10–50% as required.
