Job summary

Accenture PLC in the United States is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead cost optimization and procurement process optimization projects for client engagements. You will manage project scope, coordinate with SMEs, and mentor staff.

Travel up to 50% and work with senior executives to present recommendations; a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in management consulting focusing on procurement are required. Bonus for MBA and analytics tools experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement or sourcing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years if no degree).
• Minimum 3 years focusing on Spend Optimization.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities for executive-level engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project plans and lead all parts of client engagements.
• Manage project resources and coordinate with SMEs inside and outside the firm.
• Develop creative cost reduction strategies and provide recommendations.
• Present findings to client executives and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with clients and mentor junior staff.
• Support internal strategies, knowledge capital, and deliverables.
• Assist in client sales origination and opportunity identification.
• Assess client expenditures to find cost-reduction targets and quality improvements.
• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement process reengineering initiatives.
