Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Analyst to lead end-to-end procurement for a Virginia program. You will develop RFQs/RFPs, assess supplier capabilities, analyze costs, and support contract negotiations while ensuring policy compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage sourcing events, and drive process improvements in data quality and efficiency; a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 2+ years of experience in government procurement or related fields encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels of the organization.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed procurement decisions.
• Hybrid work arrangement requiring 3+ days in Sterling, Herndon, or Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end sourcing events for a dedicated program.
• Develop and issue RFQs/RFPs and perform supplier capability assessments.
• Conduct cost analyses and support contract negotiations per procurement policies.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and drive process improvements.
