Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Analyst to support capture and proposal efforts in the hybrid Herndon/Falls Church, VA office. You will guide acquisition strategy, review BOMs, and align supplier strategies with customer requirements to win new business.

The role requires a strong background in supply chain, FAR regulations, and clear communication across levels of the organization, with a focus on compliant, competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an addition 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of Supply Chain experience AND/OR Commercial or FAR Regulated Supply Chain Experience.
• Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
• US Person Location: Hybrid to either Herndon, VA or Falls Church, VA office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and receive of all quoting efforts related to capture and proposal efforts at GDIT.
• Review strategic solution bill of materials and recommendation of sourcing strategies to ensure the best proposal price.
• Follow and ensure all sourcing adheres to GDIT’s internal compliance standards and all government contracting regulatory requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to ensure smooth transition at the award.
• Ensure all aspects of the sourcing process are completed; including but not limited to, terms negotiations, pricing negotiation, full understanding of the agreement, and any customer specific requirements that need to be considered as part of the proposal process.
• Negotiation of all non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions related to the proposal process.
• Creating a proposal package and loading all supporting documents to a repository in accordance with templates, and process flow for proposal specific requests.
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to the capture teams.
