Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Analyst to drive end-to-end procurement activities for a dedicated program. You will lead acquisition strategy during capture, issue RFQs/RFPs, and perform competitive analyses to strengthen supplier partnerships and optimize costs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess supplier capabilities, analyze cost drivers, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement; government procurement experience is highly desired but related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in written and oral communications at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute procurement activities across a dedicated program.
• Develop and issue RFQs/RFPs and perform competitive analyses.
• Support strategic sourcing activities and contract negotiations in line with risk mitigation processes.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate supplier meetings and drive issue resolution.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to updates of procurement tools and templates.
