Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in strategic sourcing category management with a major organization.
• Experience managing complex RFPs and supplier contracts.
• Willingness to travel to various sites in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Define standard work methods with Engineering and Legal to maximize value of capital expenditures.
• Manage major category purchases around $200 million per year with appropriate sourcing strategies.
• Determine sourcing approach using total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
• Consolidate purchases across US and Canada production sites to maximize quantities.
• Lead and manage RFPs, select suppliers, negotiate and draft contracts.
• Increase contractual coverage and implement risk management with cross-functional teams.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and pursue master agreements to accelerate projects.
