Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Procurement Manager - Suppliers for its locations in Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN. The role focuses on capital expenditures for industrial equipment, partnering with Engineering to drive profitability and competitive advantage in the US.

You will lead sourcing strategies, consolidate purchases across sites, and navigate master agreements while collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of strategic sourcing category management experience with a major organization.
• Able to travel to various sites in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Define standard work methods with Engineering and Legal to maximize capital expenditure value.
• Manage major purchases for the category (approx. $200M/yr) with optimal sourcing strategies.
• Lead and manage RFPs, select suppliers, negotiate and draft contracts.
• Increase contractual coverage and implement risk management across departments.
• Establish KPIs and monitoring mechanisms for categories.
