Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Professional Services in the United States. This role will manage strategic sourcing and the contract lifecycle for professional services including marketing, communications, and facility management, leading negotiations, due diligence, and market research to enrich the procurement pipeline.

Responsibilities include RFx management, renewal optimization, TCO/ROI modeling, and collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements and KPI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Deep knowledge of consulting and service deliverable-based contracts.
  • Strong analytical capabilities - comfortable with spend data, utilization metrics and TCO modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing for new professional services purchases and negotiate enterprise agreements.
  • Own renewal management for existing contracts, review 90+ days before expiration to optimize terms.
  • Analyze and build TCO and ROI models to support KPI compliance by suppliers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to build RFx requirements and vendor selections.
  • Maintain supplier relationships through reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
  • Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights to inform category strategy.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.

Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Professional Services position will manage the strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle of professional services including but not limited to marketing, communications, people solutions, corporate services and facility management. They will lead and advise on negotiations when assigned, perform 3rd party supplier due diligence, and perform market/industry research to help build and enrich a procurement pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic sourcing for new professional services purchases - conducting needs assessments, managing RFx processes and negotiating enterprise agreements.
  • Own the renewal management for existing contracts, initiating reviews 90+ days before expiration to optimize terms and right-size licenses.
  • Analyze and build TCO and ROI models, so contracting teams can build contracts to support KPI compliance by our supplier base
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to assess needs and build requirements for RFx events.
  • Maintain supplier relationships through structured business reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
  • Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights back to the Professional Services Category Manager to inform broader category strategy.
  • Engage and participate in special projects or complete other duties as assigned

Pay

The pay rate range for this job position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees. The national pay rate range is $98,230 to $186,220
