Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Indirect Spend in Wichita, KS to lead category strategies across IT, labor, travel, and business services, driving cost savings and supplier performance.

You will partner with IT, Legal, Finance and cybersecurity to negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and standardize specifications across multiple sites, with a focus on IT software, hardware and services.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years’ relevant work experience in global manufacturing with multi-site responsibilities.
• International experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in indirect categories and IT services in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven record of delivering measurable savings and leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
• Strong contract and commercial acumen with master supply agreements, warranties, and risk clauses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own category strategies for indirect spend including IT, labor, travel, and business services.
• Lead RFx events, cost/value analysis, supplier awards, and contract negotiations.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity to ensure compliant, timely contracts.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Identify savings, standardization, and process improvements across the portfolio.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
