Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking an experienced Purchasing Lead to oversee strategic sourcing across indirect spend categories including technology, software, marketing, and professional services. You will drive end-to-end sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and risk mitigation while partnering with leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of contract negotiation experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience leading supplier selection processes, RFPs/RFQs, and competitive sourcing events.
• Experience with contract management systems and ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and supplier risk management.
• Experience financial analyses, cost modeling, and TCO evaluations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholder influence.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing in technology, software, marketing, or related indirect spend.

Responsibilities

• Identify cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Lead strategic sourcing from opportunity identification to contract execution.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, bidding events, and supplier selections.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements.
• Perform TCO and financial analyses to support recommendations.
• Develop procurement policies and best practices.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing efficiency and decision-making.
• Support due diligence including financial, security, and compliance reviews.
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, legal and finance teams.
• Develop sourcing strategies across technology, software, marketing, and professional services.
