Job summary

Spectrum Brands, based in the St. Louis area, seeks a strategic sourcing professional to develop capable sources of supply for Global Home Care & Global Pet Care. You will lead projects to improve material quality and reduce costs, partnering with operations, marketing, and technical teams to meet EBITDA objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in supplier management and related fields, SAP/ERP knowledge, and up to 25% travel. A fixed hybrid schedule is in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, technical field or related fields required.
• 5+ years experience in supplier management, global sourcing, commodity management, program/project management, finance, and/or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new sources of materials and services to meet short, mid, and long-term needs of the business.
• Manage/lead commodity categories up to $30M in spend.
• Evaluate existing suppliers and compare new alternatives to optimize the supply base and reduce costs.
• Support NPD/EPD projects to deliver best value and innovative products.
• Lead internal improvement initiatives and multi-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Provide support to technical, financial, marketing, and controlling groups to align goals.
