Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing for Disney Cruise Line in Celebration, Florida. You will lead a team of Expeditors and own spend categories, improving supplier performance and procurement workflows across the fleet.

You will develop long-term sourcing strategies, conduct spend analyses, and negotiate contracts to drive cost efficiency and risk mitigation while partnering with internal stakeholders and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• 3–5 years of leadership managing teams.
• Experience developing and executing long-term category management and sourcing strategies.
• Proven spend analysis, contract assessments, supplier evaluations, and market research.
• Extensive experience leading competitive sourcing events (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and negotiations.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and ability to manage business risk.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Expeditors supporting Disney Cruise Line procurement activities.
• Improve expediting processes: order confirmations, shipment visibility, delivery performance, and efficiency.
• Evaluate procurement workflows and implement improvements to service levels and responsiveness.
• Identify and implement technology solutions, automation, and reporting tools for fleet growth.
• Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting for supplier responsiveness and delivery.
• Own the assigned sourcing category and develop a long-term category strategy.
• Conduct spend and contract analysis, supplier assessments, and market evaluations.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Promote best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement across procurement functions.
