Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead Expediting and a designated category portfolio across the fleet. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing and drives end-to-end procurement excellence.

You will oversee a team of six Expeditors, develop long-term sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and deliver cost reductions while ensuring on-time delivery for the growing fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• 3–5 years in leadership roles delivering measurable results.
• Experience in long-term category management and sourcing strategies.
• Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and executive-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Expeditors supporting Disney Cruise Line procurement activities.
• Improve supplier order confirmations, shipment visibility, and delivery performance.
• Evaluate procurement workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Identify technology solutions, automation, and reporting tools to support growth.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for supplier responsiveness and performance.
• Own an assigned sourcing category and develop a category management strategy.
• Conduct spend and contract analysis, supplier assessments, and market research.
• Maintain a multi-year sourcing roadmap including renewals and projects.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and mitigate risks.
• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate favorable terms, SLAs, warranties, and protections for Disney Cruise Line.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and partner with internal stakeholders.
• Support long-term sourcing strategies across Disney Cruise Line.
• Mentor and develop Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Expediting Cast Members.
• Promote best practices, compliance, and contracting standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on sourcing and supply chain matters.
