Lighthouse Electric seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop enterprise agreements and sourcing strategies for commodities and quoted materials. You will coordinate with Estimating, PM, and Scheduling to capture pricing and lead times, maintain procurement logs, and forecast demand to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

You will use Excel and Power BI to provide leadership with cost, forecast, and market insights, supporting large-scale electrical construction projects nationwide.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of purchasing, project management, or supply chain experience (electrical or construction industry preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or similar data and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Workday, Foundation, Vista, Remarkable, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across departments.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and manage enterprise agreements and sourcing strategies for commodities and quoted material packages.
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Project Management, and Scheduling to get pricing and lead times on quoted packages.
  • Maintain project procurement log from preconstruction through procurement and delivery.
  • Dataset all project quotes to provide enterprise view of vendor spends/commitments.
  • Provide lead times on long-lead items to estimating and scheduling teams.
  • Identify long-lead or non-standard items and propose alternatives prior to contract award.
  • Forecast future demand to negotiate pricing, terms, and rebates with distributors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing Manager to execute purchase orders on awarded projects.
  • Develop and manage enterprise agreements and sourcing strategies for commodities and quotes; oversee futures contracts and market data.
  • Ensure estimating uses up-to-date pricing data when bidding and budgeting.
  • Partner with estimating and preconstruction to identify early material needs and standardization opportunities.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform to scorecard spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to share cost, forecast, and market insights with leadership.
  • Monitor market trends and communicate updates across major product lines.

Job Description
  • The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and managing enterprise agreements and sourcing strategies for both commodities and quoted material packages.
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Project Management, and Scheduling to get pricing+ lead time on quoted packages.
  • Develop and manage the project procurement log during the late estimating phase, tracking major material packages and long-lead items from preconstruction through procurement and final project delivery.
  • Database all project quotes using procurement log to provide enterprise view of vendor spends/commitments.
  • Ensure estimating and scheduling teams have lead times on long lead items
  • Identify any long-lead or non-standard items and propose alternatives prior to contract award
  • Forecast future demand for material to negotiate pricing, terms, and rebate programs with key distributors, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to execute purchase orders for quoted packages on awarded projects.
  • Develop and manage enterprise agreements and sourcing strategies for both commodities and quoted material packages, including oversight of copper and steel future contracts and related market data tracking.
  • Ensure the estimating department uses the most up-to-date pricing data when bidding and budgeting projects.
  • Partner with estimating and preconstruction to identify early material needs and standardization opportunities.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform tools to scorecard spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to share cost, forecast, and market insights with leadership.

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
