Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager for Starshield in Hawthorne, CA. Lead demand planning and hardware sourcing for Starshield satellites, working with key suppliers to optimize cost, quality and speed. Role requires coordinating RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and internal RFX processes while guiding stakeholders to informed sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 6+ years in supply chain, production, or engineering, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with technical procurement and planning for hardware like PCB/PCBA and electronic components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SQL, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for Starshield hardware.
• Aggregate demand data for satellite constellation hardware to enable accurate demand signals.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and drive sourcing decisions with stakeholders.
• Manage cost and budgets, and create should-cost models for competitive analysis.
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving programs with suppliers.
