Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. seeks a Sourcing Category Manager - Senior Advisor to shape supplier strategy and governance for software, hardware, services, and resellers. You will negotiate complex agreements and drive cost risk reductions while aligning with IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders.

This hybrid role requires 2+ days in the office across Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Monett, MO; and Springfield, MO, with travel up to 5% and extended hours during RFx cycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, vendor management or procurement in fintech/indirect purchasing.
• Advanced experience in redlining agreements.
• Proficient in pricing negotiations with suppliers.
• Ability to handle multi-million-dollar deals with complex structures.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% for meetings and conferences.
• Ability to work extended hours during RFx cycles and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide supply strategies and drive corporate objectives.
• Lead analysis of industry trends to advise on opportunities and cost reduction.
• Oversee supplier management, performance metrics, and contract compliance.
• Serve as strategic advisor to cross-functional teams on sourcing initiatives.
• Lead high-visibility negotiations for major supplier agreements.
• Promote spend transparency and cost modeling for executive decisions.
• Ensure adherence to procurement processes and delegation of authority.
• Mentor less experienced peers and share domain expertise.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
