Qualifications

• 13 years of combination experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Advanced level of experience in red lining supplier agreements.
• Proficient in pricing negotiation with suppliers.
• Ability to handle multi million dollar deals with complex structures.
• Timeline driven and able to self-prioritize; escalate when needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% for meetings, trainings or conferences.
• Able to work extended hours during major negotiations or RFx cycles.
• Strong business acumen; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong data analysis experience in presenting to leadership.
• Process oriented.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide supply strategies and drive corporate objectives through expert guidance on trends.
• Lead analysis of industry trends and future technologies for supply base opportunities and cost reduction.
• Oversee supplier management and performance metrics for value, compliance and alignment.
• Serve as strategic advisor to cross-functional teams on high-impact sourcing initiatives.
• Lead negotiations for major supplier agreements and define evaluation criteria.
• Promote spend transparency using cost modeling for executive decisions.
• Ensure adherence to procurement processes and delegation of authority on projects.
• Mentor and develop less experienced peers across the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
