Western Digital is seeking a Senior Manager for Strategic Sourcing, MRO, at the Fremont office. This exempt, full-time role leads a team of sourcing professionals, defines the strategic vision for MRO, runs RFPs, negotiates master agreements, and partners with Operations and Legal to maximize value from the supplier base.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in indirect sourcing in a multinational, with MBA or JD preferred, and proven experience in SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in indirect strategic sourcing in a multinational organization with an emphasis in MRO.
• MBA or JD preferred
• Extensive experience leading sourcing initiatives of all kinds (e.g., rapid sourcing, targeted negotiations, complex category strategies, supplier relationship management, outsourcing)
• Experience and expertise with sourcing & contracting ERP tools (SAP and/or Oracle)

Responsabilités

• Hire, train, develop and lead a team of sourcing professionals for the MRO commodity.
• Develops and support the overall vision, strategy and execution plan for the MRO Sourcing function with stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct RFPs and lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection with scoring criteria.
• Collaborate with Operations/Legal to optimize value from the supply base.
• Conduct spend/contract/proposal analysis for MRO Services and present recommendations to leadership.
• Lead negotiations on MSAs, SOWs, COs balancing business and legal interests.
• Analyze total costs, ROI, and benchmark prices; negotiate favorable terms.
• Research market intelligence to understand cost drivers and trends
