Job summary

TalentBridge, in partnership with a growing manufacturer in Charlotte, seeks a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across the organization. The role collaborates with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain leadership to secure right suppliers, commercial terms and sourcing strategies for current production and future growth.

The ideal candidate will operate beyond traditional purchasing, evaluating suppliers, negotiating agreements, and driving cost-reduction

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive sourcing experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong track record in supplier selection, negotiations and supplier management.
• Experience developing category strategies and managing significant direct/indirect spend.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities across multiple areas of spend within a manufacturing organization.
• Develop category and supplier strategies based on current requirements and anticipated growth.
• Evaluate supply base and identify opportunities for new suppliers, consolidation, dual sourcing or supplier development.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations and ongoing supplier-management activities.
• Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities through negotiations and market analysis.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, performance and risk to ensure continuity of supply.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations and Quality on sourcing decisions.
• Develop metrics to track sourcing performance and cost improvements.
• Improve sourcing processes and tools to support growth.
