Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to source materials, equipment, and services across IPS locations. You will lead RFQs and RFPs, negotiate terms, and drive savings within national contracts and category plans.

You will coordinate with regional buyers to consolidate spend, monitor supplier performance, and align sourcing with uptime and reliability needs for IPS customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of purchasing, procurement, and strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience with automation tools and ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Experience managing sourcing across multiple locations or in a multi-site business.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQs and RFPs from specification through award.
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery, capability, and risk.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and other terms.
• Prepare sourcing recommendations with total cost analysis and rationale.
• Follow national agreements and category management strategies.
• Coordinate with regional buyers to leverage spend and secure better terms.
• Act as supply chain representative with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead corrective actions when needed.
• Identify savings opportunities and report results to leadership.
