Job summary

Haskell is seeking a procurement professional in the Atlanta area to support preconstruction, buyout, and change management activities. You will review specifications, create bid lists, manage vendor prequalification, and assist with vendor negotiations and order placement.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in procurement or related fields; 5+ years preferred. Experience in the AEC industry and Procore software is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in procurement, engineering, construction, estimating, or a related field is required. Five or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in the AEC industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and review terms and conditions with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review equipment lists and drawings for scope alignment.
• Assist with creation of bid lists and research of qualified vendors.
• Manage the prequalification process, including vendor risk evaluations.
• Support closeout of procurement activities and vendor management.
• Review proposals and select or advise vendors based on gathered information.
• Help negotiate vendor terms and conditions with project teams.
• Identify and communicate purchase-related risks to teams.
• Assist in placing orders and coordinating with Estimators and Project Managers.
• Develop relationships with vendor partners and maintain cost codes and budgets.
