Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior commercial sourcing leader to design and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for Tier 1 contract manufacturers supporting complex compute hardware and off-the-shelf silicon. You will lead complex commercial negotiations, draft and execute master manufacturing agreements, and own integrated sub-tier commodities to secure favorable terms and reduce total costs.

Qualifications

10+ years in strategic sourcing or GSM for Tier 1 contract manufacturers and complex compute/electronic systems.
Deep expertise in manufacturing cost dissection (line costing, cost per placement, tooling amortization, yield).
Track record negotiating and executing MMAs/MSAs, SOWs, liability/warranty terms.

Responsibilities

Develop CM & Compute Sourcing Strategy for Tier 1 CM (JDM/Hybrid/ODM).
Lead commercial negotiations: MVA, line rates, labor, cycle/lead times, tooling amortization, yield sharing models.
Draft, negotiate, and execute manufacturing/supply agreements (MSAs, MPAs, SLAs).
Own integrated sub-tier commodities: master pricing, supply assurance for connectors and active silicon.
Drive cost modeling and TCO for PCBA/box-build; lead cost-reduction programs.
Partner with Engineering/AME to guide DFM/DFT decisions and NPI build execution.
