Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Engineering, Procurement, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in procurement or related field
• Or High School Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of experience in procurement or related field
• Professional certification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (preferred)
• MBA or related degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes strategic sourcing to determine and prepare RFPs/competitive bids, solicit responses, analyze them, and negotiate contracts to reduce costs
• Leads strategic sourcing activities and coordinates across cross-functional teams
• Develops cross-functional teams, identifies bidders, sets up RFPs, and works with stakeholders to forge recommendations
• Proactively identifies expense reduction opportunities with suppliers and senior leaders
• Analyzes market conditions and plans procurement of non-IT goods
• Communicates corporate procurement standards to vendors and partners
• Manages and executes RFPs/contracts that meet company requirements
• Mentors junior consultants and supports continuous improvement initiatives
• Possible team lead or supervision of entry-level procurement consultants
• Collaborates with Procurement Strategic Sourcing Technology Consultant on projects
