Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive procurement for Engineered Systems and Major Projects. You will partner with project teams to identify cost savings, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 5+ years of procurement experience in EPC projects, strong SAP-MM/ERP skills, and the ability to work across time zones. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing and procurement principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP-MM) and procurement processes.
• Experience in EPC projects and global sourcing across time zones.
• Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies with project teams for defined commodities.
• Perform RFQ prep, vendor selection, negotiations and PO placement.
• Expedite suppliers to ensure timely delivery and support AVL maintenance.
• Provide vendor performance analysis and post-execution support.
• Produce Excel-based cost analyses and dashboards for project tracking.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, logistics and project management during execution.
• Support budget forecasting and procurement planning for proposals and applications teams.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or engineering
