Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage complex sourcing activities across P2P processes. You will coordinate with Risk, Legal, and business partners to ensure compliant supplier contracts and timely procurement actions.

The role requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder communication skills, with a focus on cost optimization and regulatory alignment within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–6+ years in Sourcing/Procurement.
• Expert in procurement and supply chain management.
• Ability to interact tactfully with numerous stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong relationship management skills with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of and drives requests through the procure-to-pay process.
• Coordinates with stakeholders, Legal and SMEs regarding supplier contracts.
• Negotiate contract spend to be reasonable and competitive within market.
• Aim for cost avoidance or cost-out during negotiations and manage spend.
• Ensures contract terms align with business needs and parent agreements.
• Develops relationships with business partners, suppliers, and Procurement teams.
• Mentor junior teammates and ensure compliance with procedures.
