Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 6–8 years of sourcing experience in regulated environments
• Knowledge of market, suppliers and cost drivers
• Experience managing matrixed supplier relationships
• Ability to learn quickly and apply strategic category spend
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
• Proven supplier consolidation and spend optimization experience
• Subject matter expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies
• Ability to build client relationships and influence at senior levels
• Strong analytical, negotiation and project management skills
• Executive presence and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Implements category strategies for medium spend levels to optimize efficiency and value.
• Develops understanding of category activity and drives greater involvement and value.
• Specializes by building deep expertise within categories.
• Maintains understanding of global supply markets and competitors.
• Builds strong internal and supplier relationships.
• Aligns sourcing plans with business and ecosystem goals.
• Leads cross-functional teams in spec development, RFIs, RFPs, contracts, and project plans.
• Performs market data analysis for negotiations and supplier selection.
• Compiles commodity profiles and performance metrics.
• Analyzes market trends to inform category decisions.
• Executes end-to-end sourcing process including scope, supplier selection, and contract execution.
• Engages risk stakeholders as needed and drives vendor performance optimization.
