Job summary

Intermatic is seeking a Sr Purchasing Analyst to source and procure direct materials supporting manufacturing and new product development. The role focuses on supplier relationships, pricing and contract negotiations, and ensuring material availability to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Sales, Planning, Quality and Manufacturing teams to address supply issues, drive cost reductions, and manage supplier performance through metrics and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, or commodity management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing electronic components, mechanical parts, plastic resin, metal components, packaging materials, or other direct manufacturing materials preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing of electronic components, plastics, metals and other direct materials.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and supplier performance improvements.
• Monitor market conditions and supplier capacity for assigned commodities.
