Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. seeks a Strategic Sourcing Category Lead to develop and implement category strategies across construction, engineering, manufacturing and renewable energy sectors. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver on risk, quality, cost, and other value drivers.

The role requires 2+ years in strategic sourcing, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and travel of 10-30%. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong sourcing acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of electrical construction trade is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the expert for respective categories with deep knowledge of industry, competition, and innovations.
• Develop, issue, and manage RFPs or bid processes to achieve savings.
• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for commodity materials across business groups.
• Negotiate corporate programs with strategic suppliers and form new alliances.
• Monitor cost reduction opportunities and report price changes.
• Assess supplier/material risk and suggest mitigation plans.
• Qualify alternative supply sources and explore risk-based cost-out opportunities.
• Support quarterly vendor reviews and external business reviews with actionable performance feedback.
• Identify and drive continuous transformation within the sourcing organization.
• Foster communication, data collection, and supplier relationship management within Faith.
