Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Houston, TX seeks a Category Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations across assigned spend categories. You will manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, supplier selection, and ongoing performance oversight.

You will partner with teams to identify savings opportunities, improve supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience leading RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Contract negotiation and supplier management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process including RFI, RFQ, and RFP events for assigned categories.
• Develop category strategies that deliver cost savings, value creation, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, implementation, renewals, and ongoing performance.
• Conduct spend analysis and present recommendations to team members.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and identify market trends and sourcing opportunities.
• Implement and support SRM programs across assigned spend portfolios.
• Collaborate with teams to align sourcing strategies with goals and requirements.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Lead large-scale sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
• Develop procurement team members through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business leaders to optimize supplier performance and efficiency.
