Job summary

Decca Recruiting is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Team Lead to guide strategic sourcing initiatives and lead a small team in Houston. You will manage supplier negotiations, RFx processes, cost modeling, and spend analysis for programs exceeding $100M annually, driving value creation across the business.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in strategic sourcing or related fields, strong leadership, and the ability to partner with technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or project management.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel preferred.

Strategic Sourcing Team Lead / Senior Strategic Sourcing Team Lead

Responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives and a small sourcing team to deliver optimal supplier solutions, reduce total cost of ownership, and implement global sourcing strategies for complex projects. This role manages supplier negotiations, RF(x) processes, cost modeling, spend analysis, and sourcing programs exceeding $100M annually while driving value creation for the business. Candidates should have strong strategic sourcing experience, technical-commercial aptitude, leadership skills, and the ability to work with technical stakeholders. A bachelor's degree is required, with SAP knowledge and engineering or technical education preferred. 5-8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, field operations, or project management is expected.
