The role leads supplier negotiations, RF(x) processes, cost modeling, spend analysis, and global sourcing strategies for complex projects lasting 6–9 months, aiming to maximize value while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; SAP knowledge and engineering/technical education preferred.
• A certification as a Supply Chain Professional is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-8 years related experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, or project management.
• Strong strategic sourcing experience, technical-commercial aptitude, leadership skills, and ability to work with technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and a small sourcing team to deliver optimal supplier solutions, reduce total cost of ownership, and implement global sourcing strategies for complex projects.
• Manage supplier negotiations, RF(x) processes, cost modeling, spend analysis, and sourcing programs exceeding $100M annually while driving value creation for the business.
• Analyze, develop and lead the implementation of the global sourcing strategy for designated projects usually lasting six to nine months.
• Reduce Total Cost of Ownership without compromising business strategy.
• Spend sourced annually for this role will typically be complex and comprise of 100+ million USD.
