Job summary

WENCOR in Provo, UT is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist responsible for ensuring customer requirements supportability and driving inventory turns through effective supply chain management.

You will review requirements, source, purchase, expedit e, negotiate best value with vendors, prepare POs, monitor data, and maintain supplier relationships. A Bachelor\'s degree and/or 1 year experience; aerospace experience a plus; strong MS Office and negotiation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or one year of experience; aerospace experience a plus.
• Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is preferred.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements to determine actions: sourcing, purchasing, expediting, de-expediting, cancellation.
• Research, recommend, and negotiate procurements.
• Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, and PO change notices.
• Ensure purchases are compliant with customer flow downs.
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing.
• Monitor data to ensure adequate supportability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
