Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing, procurement, sourcing, or a related production environment.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Results-driven with ability to monitor and report KPIs.
• read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Experience with casting, machining, assembly, or metal fabrication is a plus.
• SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research new suppliers and sourcing opportunities globally, with local focus when feasible.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Production teams to understand material requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and act as escalation point for issues.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements with key suppliers per company requirements.
• Use root-cause analysis to drive improvements in quality, on-time delivery, cost, and working capital.
• Develop and implement commodity strategies to meet current and future needs.
• Utilize quoting, value engineering, and make-vs-buy analyses to support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support Operational Purchasing with vendor creation and maintenance.
• Collaborate to optimize purchasing strategies and production requirements while minimizing total cost of ownership.
• Participate in supplier business reviews and supplier scorecards.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain full compliance with safety, ethics, and quality requirements.
