Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight years in manufacturing or procurement in a production environment.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze problems using facts and data.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research new suppliers and sourcing opportunities globally, with a focus on local sourcing when feasible.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and production teams on material requirements.
• Develop and cultivate positive relationships with supplier base as escalation point of contact.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements with key suppliers per Company requirements.
• Use root‑cause analysis to drive continuous improvement across quality, on‑time delivery, cost, and working capital.
• Develop and implement commodity strategies to map current and future states for continuous improvement.
• Utilize quoting, value engineering, make‑vs‑buy analysis to support cost reduction.
• Support Operational Purchasing with vendor creation and maintenance.
• Collaborate to ensure purchasing plans are optimized for production requirements and lowest total cost of ownership.
• Participate in supplier business reviews with Operational Purchasing (Supplier Scorecard Reviews).
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Full compliance with all safety and ethics requirements.
