Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement in a manufacturing setting. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings to support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Significant procurement leadership experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing experience.
• Proven success delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide expertise in global sourcing strategies and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Oversee direct and indirect procurement activities, including materials, services, and capital equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships through contract negotiation and performance management.
• Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation metrics.
• Implement proactive sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize risk.
• Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
• Establish, track, and report on procurement KPIs to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Planning teams.
