Role snapshot

• Scope: Own procurement activities for Energy Systems across pre-PO and post-PO phases.
• Impact: Lead large procurement projects; standardize approaches; drive predictable delivery during execution.
• Collaboration: Work with Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) to define charters, quantify benefits, align resources, monitor project health, remove roadblocks, and eliminate risks.
• Location: Cranberry Township, PA (hybrid) | Travel: up to 20% | Reporting: Nuclear Island Delivery Manager

What problems will you solve?

• How do we convert demand signals into executable sourcing plans with the Offer and Project Teams?
• Which suppliers are best positioned—financially and operationally—to meet our needs today and scale tomorrow?
• What negotiation strategy yields optimal price, delivery, and terms for complex, specialized components?
• Where can we unlock cost improvements across commodity groups without compromising quality?
• How do we manage post-award changes—entitlement, cost basis, and contract terms—in SAP with rigor and speed?

Core responsibilities

• Approve safety-related requisitions.
• Coordinate RFx activities and set supplier/service sourcing strategies.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes; analyze proposals; lead negotiations for pricing, delivery, and T&Cs.
• Develop supplier intelligence: financial stability, goals, footprint, capacity, key customers, and competitors; brief Supply Chain on capacity/performance and market constraints.
• Drive post-PO supplier performance and commitments; lead change/contract management; negotiate and document changes in SAP.

What you’ll bring

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Chemical).
• 4+ years of procurement engineering experience with structural components.
• PMP a plus.
• International sourcing experience for nuclear projects; knowledge of ASME NQA-1 or ASME III preferred.

Pay transparency

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
