Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D CRO category sourcing
• Experience in leading cross-functional sourcing teams
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to translate business goals into sourcing strategies
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and regulatory expectations
• Experience with RFx processes and spend analysis
• Executive presence and stakeholder management
• Data analysis and KPI tracking skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CRO category strategies aligned with R&D objectives
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance, risk, and quality controls
• Lead negotiations for Master Services Agreements and rate cards
• Drive 10-15% annual savings across in-scope areas
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide regular reporting on sourcing initiatives to leadership
• Lead a team of sourcing managers and cross-functional teams
• Establish category templates and governance processes
