Job summary

Fervo Energy Company seeks a Sourcing and Contracts Lead, Operations to develop and execute procurement strategies for commissioning, operations, and production. You will lead competitive sourcing, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and help build the MRO category strategy in collaboration with Legal, HSE, Finance, and Engineering.

You will safeguard supply continuity, drive cost value, and deliver measurable improvements from demand planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract establishment or management in asset-intensive environments.
• Experience leading competitive sourcing, negotiations, and post-award management.
• Strong commercial judgment and knowledge of TCO, supplier risk, and P2P controls.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• High integrity with a safety and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with commissioning and operations schedules.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing, RFx development, evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Manage contracts from award through closeout, monitor performance and compliance.
• Lead supplier performance reviews across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks, maintains due diligence and ethics standards.
• Improve procurement processes, data quality, and digital workflows.
