Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Sourcing and Contracts Lead, Operations to develop and execute procurement strategies for commissioning, operations, and production. You will lead competitive sourcing, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and help shape the MRO category strategy in partnership with Legal and Business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract establishment, or contract management in energy, industrial operations, manufacturing, utilities, or asset-intensive environments.
• Proven experience leading competitive sourcing, evaluations, negotiations, contracts, and post-award management.
• Strong commercial judgment, knowledge of total cost of ownership, supplier risk, contract terms and P2P controls.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with technical, financial, legal, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with commissioning schedules, operating plans, and asset priorities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes from market analysis to contract implementation.
• Contribute to MRO category strategy, standardizing specifications and pricing structures.
