Job summary

The Toro Company in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Category Specialist to drive cost reductions, supplier relationships and strategic sourcing within the Integrated Supply Chain. You will lead negotiations, develop long-term agreements, and support continuous improvement initiatives that align with ISC goals.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, and a competitive salary in the $65k-$90k range, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering.
• Level determined by years of sourcing experience ( Specialist I-II-III ).
• Experience with Steel Components & Flexible Manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to Obtain a SCM certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong computer skills including SAP® and MRP/ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Enhance supplier relationships and align with ISC goals.
• Develop and implement long-term supply agreements and LTAs.
• Lead cost-reduction strategies and perform TCO analyses.
• Negotiate contracts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support supplier transitions and continuous improvement projects.
• Analyze PPV and drive delivery performance with category teams.
