Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Specialist to assist Strategic Sourcing Leaders with prospecting, relationship building and program setup with suppliers. You will help execute RFQ/RFP processes and support category managers in supplier qualification to ensure cost and schedule goals are met.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and strong MS Office skills. 2 years in supply chain or garment experience is preferred. This role is full-time, on-site in Chicago.

• Garment or supply chain experience is preferred.

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Specialist to assist Strategic Sourcing Leaders with prospecting, relationship building and program setup with suppliers in order to uphold Cintas' value propositions. Responsibilities include executing and administering RFQ and RFP processes with suppliers in accordance with government, corporate and division policies in order to provide product consistent with, or better than, the cost and scheduler needs of Cintas; supporting Category Managers in qualifying suppliers of Cintas products either for internal or contracted manufacturing or sourced for distribution to Cintas' customers; working within the requirements of the development process and calendar of development.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $59,400 - $75,900/Year. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
