Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies for internal customers. You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and drive cost savings across assigned categories.

You will analyze category spend, seek supplier base optimization, pursue continuous improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders within Global Supply Chain to deliver value. Strong negotiation and analytics are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to be responsible for developing the sourcing strategy to meet the needs of internal customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities include using critical negotiating and competitive bidding skills to deliver cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers; managing supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation relative to business needs and market conditions; analyzing category spend to initiate restructuring of vendor base to achieve cost savings goals; seeking continuous improvement to drive innovation for all products within assigned product categories.
