Job summary

West Shore Home, a technology-driven home improvement company, is seeking a Category Manager to develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for direct material categories. The role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and supply chain optimization.

The position handles negotiations, RFPs, contract execution, and cross-functional collaboration to support new product initiatives and operational goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
• Travel domestically up to 15% annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned material categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, RFPs, and contract execution.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships focused on quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Support new product launches and key sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements.
• Track supplier performance, sourcing analytics, and savings initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally to support operational goals and supply continuity.
