West Shore Home is seeking a Category Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA. This onsite role focuses on strategic sourcing for direct material categories, partnering with internal teams and suppliers to drive cost savings and supply chain improvements.

The successful candidate will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and support new product initiatives while traveling up to 15% domestically. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in sourcing or procurement are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned material categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, RFPs, and contract execution.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships focused on quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Support new product launches and key sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements.
• Track supplier performance, sourcing analytics, and savings initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally to support operational goals and supply continuity.
