Job summary

Confidential company in the United States is seeking a Products & Materials Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function for assigned categories. You will partner with Operations, Finance, R&D, and controls to develop and execute category strategies and optimize supplier performance.

You will oversee strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations, while guiding a team of Strategic Category Buyers to achieve cost, quality, service, and risk objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management and strategy for assigned products and materials.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee Purchase-to-Pay activities and regulatory compliance.
• Develop KPIs and report procurement performance to senior management.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Strategic Category Buyers.
