Job summary

Forj Medical is seeking a Category Specialist to analyze data, identify trends, and develop sourcing strategies for product categories, including PCBA purchasing. You will support supplier selection, risk management, and supplier development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic relationships and 2+ years in supply chain and contract negotiations. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic relationship building and experience in customer/supplier management.
• 2+ years of strategic supply chain experience, including development and execution of sourcing strategies.
• 2+ years of negotiation experience focusing on contracts, purchasing, or sales.
• Lean concepts knowledge and driving operational excellence; certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand/forecast and manage purchase orders across assigned activities.
• Support new and transfer programs through RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate costs, select best option.
• Foster supplier relationships to achieve better pricing and quality.
• Lead contract reviews and negotiations on terms for quality and supply chain objectives.
• Develop and implement cost-reduction roadmaps with suppliers.
