Job summary

Forj Medical is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead strategic buying and supplier management across multiple programs. The role focuses on consolidating spend, leveraging market intelligence, and negotiating global supply agreements to support development and manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in strategic sourcing with leadership experience, plus knowledge of electronics components and a track record of improving supplier performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of experience running a sophisticated supply chain (strategic sourcing, managing suppliers, industry analysis, contract management, negotiations, forecasting) with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of leadership principles, supervision, training, coaching and mentoring a diverse team.
• Preferred experience with electronic components and assemblies with supply material spend of $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Use best practices to ensure continuous supply of specified products and services at the best cost to meet strategic goals.
• Plan, implement, and supervise commodity management, supplier selection, contract agreements, and strategic purchasing activities.
• Assess internal and external customer requirements and respond proactively.
• Manage supplier escalation and mitigate impact on Forj Medical operations.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and manage supplier relationships across programs.
