King Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Category Manager in Minnesota to lead sourcing for new water-care products, manage supplier evaluations, and drive cost savings.

You will own the supplier qualification process, partner with R&D on materials, and develop strategies for chemicals, packaging, and contract manufacturing. The role emphasizes strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, chemistry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Experience sourcing and managing contract manufacturers.
• Experience in plastics and packaging materials.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, including payment terms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing for NPD projects and guide the NPD buyer on bidding and pricing.
• Drive supplier evaluations, selection, and final supplier decisions with input from manufacturing.
• Bring supplier innovation into NPD, partnering with R&D early in development.
• Own supplier qualification end-to-end including financial vetting and onboarding.
• Develop category strategies for chemicals, packaging, and contract manufacturing.
• Set annual cost savings objectives and track savings with approved methodology.
