Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Buyer to manage sourcing and procurement of materials for production in Denver, Colorado. The role emphasizes timely delivery of quality materials, effective supplier management, and negotiation of costs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and 3–5+ years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Benefits include health benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings program, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the metal stamping/forming manufacturing industry preferred.
• APICS or CPSM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure raw materials for production operations.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance reviews.
• Negotiate pricing and lead times to maximize ROI.
• Monitor purchase orders and expedite critical materials.
• Align purchasing with production schedules and resolve discrepancies.
