Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead direct materials (80/20 focus) and indirect spend, manage a procurement team, and align sourcing with production needs. You will drive cost reductions, optimize supplier performance, and ensure supply continuity across our manufacturing footprint.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement/sourcing in manufacturing, experience with ERP systems, and strong leadership ability. Competitive benefits include health, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years procurement/sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with engineering or metal forming industries is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team (3–5 employees) and managing both direct and indirect spend.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy and execution for direct Materials (80/20) and indirect spend.
• Ensure material availability to support production while optimizing inventory and cash flow.
• Drive cost reduction via value analysis, supplier consolidation, and strategic sourcing.
